Why worry?

Hello everyone!  Well, I am sorry for the delay in posts.  I have been very busy lately.  I would like to thank all of my brothers and sisters in Christ who continue to visit this blog site.  As always my prayer is that you would be blessed through this content written here. If you like what you read here I encourage you to share this site with everyone you know.  The whole purpose of this site is to bring people to Jesus.  All things point to Him.  Praise and Glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would like to join together  with you in prayer before I start this post tonight.  Most gracious Heavenly Father thankfulness and gratitude are on my heart and are in the forefront of my mind.  I need to thank you for your many blessings that you have bestowed on me and my family today.  I am very grateful for the opportunity to talk with you whenever and about whatever is on my mind.  My Lord Jesus you are my God, Savior, Leader, and my Friend.  You are always there for me.  You promised to never leave me or forsake me, and you never will.  Today was a day like many that I have had in the past.  There wasn’t any major problems that happened.  Everything just worked out.  I used to worry a lot about everything before I surrendered my life to your Lordship.  I have no need to worry anymore because I know that you are Lord over it all, and that nothing in your world happens by mistake.  I realize that everything has a purpose and is part of your glorious plan.  I am a sinner saved only by your grace.  I must surrender my will daily for yours.  Thank you for being in my life Jesus.

Why worry?  That is the million dollar question of the night.  Worry wont get us any closer to fixing our problems, nor will it do our health any good at all.   So why do we always worry about stuff that we cant control? The reality of it all is that we cant control anything.  We worry about the weather, our job, our finances, our children, the dog, the cat or whatever the case may be.  I have came to believe that worry is a sin.  Do you believe that God has the power to do everything?  The answer is yes, right? Crazy question?  Maybe not.  A lot of people acknowledge God as Being God, but fail to remember that He created the universe and everything in it out of nothing.   Jesus said that we will have trouble in this world but to take heart he has overcome this world.  As a follower of Jesus we need to have faith that he knows exactly what we need.

We need to allow Him to be the Lord over all areas of our lives.  This is a daily struggle for all of us.  We want what we want, and that is where the problem lies.  Have you ever asked God what His plan for your life is?  This is why it is very important to pray.  Prayer is the most powerful thing there is.  As I mentioned in our prayer we can pray to God about whatever and whenever we want.  This is how we communicate with Jesus our God.   Prayer has four parts to it.  Remember the abbreviation A.C.T.S.  A is for adoration. This is where we praise God.  We acknowledge that he is a Holy God.  We come into His presence and we worship Him.  C is for confession.  We confess that we are a sinner, and we ask for forgiveness.  T is for thanksgiving.  We are thankful for His presence in our lives, and for all that He has given us. S is for supplication.  This is where we make known to God our petitions.  Remember He already knows what we want and need, but He wants us to ask.  He loves you with a love that we as humans cant understand.  He doesn’t want you to worry about anything.  He will supply all your needs.

Remember that Jesus is with you always.  He goes to work with you.  He celebrates with you when you are happy, and He comforts you when your sad.  Our God is a gentlemen.  He wont go where he isn’t invited, so I implore you to invite Him to be Lord over it all.  If you are in a struggle right now and don’t know which way to turn go to God in prayer.  He will show you what to do.  He will lead, guide, and strengthen you to make the right decision.

Life is to short to waste on worry.  Just remember that God is watching over all the time even while you sleep.  He knows your struggles and your problems, and He wants to help you.  Are you going to let Him?  Do me a favor?  Refuse to worry today and give God all of it. He can handle it!

I want to thank you for visiting. May God Bless You Richly———————-Your Brother in Christ———————————————–Matthew J. Leiker
