Jesus – My Father, My Strength, My Provider

Hello Everyone! I am so glad that you have taken time out of your busy day to check out this latest post.  As always my prayer for you is that you would come to know Jesus as I have, and that you would enter into a personal relationship with Him.  There is good news!  Nobody ever has to go through this life lost anymore.  When you accept Jesus’ free gift of salvation he promises to never leave you or forsake you!  Isn’t that awesome?  If you need help on how to surrender your life to Jesus click on the tab labeled “It’s Your Decision” on the landing page on this site. I personally lead you through it.

Jesus has many names and many attributes.  Who is he to you?  Is He just another name to you, or is He your friend, brother, Savior.  As we all go through our daily lives we experience happiness, sadness, joy, peace, anger, solitude, loneliness, and many more emotions.  I know I can get so caught up in the daily routine of work that I get caught up in all the emotions that goes with it.  For me Jesus is my Father, my Strength, and my Provider.  He is my Lord and Savior!  All glory and honor goes to Him.  When we can come to the place of realization that Jesus is God, and that he willfully died for our sins.  We start to get a sense of just how great is our God. He did this so that we can share eternal life with him in Heaven.  He loves you that much.  It is almost unfathomable the love he shows to us on a daily basis.

Think about it, all that we are comes from Him.  He created the world, the planets, and all the galaxies.  He created humanity from the dust of the Earth and breathed life into us. He created you and me, and he even knows the number of hairs on your head.  He is all knowing, ever living, and all powerful.  Your intellect and your skill comes from Him.  There will never be another you.  You are uniquely created by the one true God, Jesus Christ!  He is not Just another name.  He is the great “I AM.”  When I hear people take Jesus’ name in vein I cringe.  There was a time that I did the same thing.  How ignorant was I?  I was taking Jesus for granted.  The man that gave me life, and that died for me.

My day starts out praising Jesus for what he has done.  I acknowledge Him as my Lord and Savior in prayer, and I thank God continually throughout the day.  That conscious contact with him.  Letting Him lead the way.  As a growing Christian I strive to be more and more like Him.  Slow to speak, slow to anger, and abounding in love.  I rely on Jesus for everything.  He truly is my Father, my strength, my provider, and he can be yours as well.  All you have to do is invite Him into your life, give up your will, and let Him lead the way.  He knows better than we do anyway.  Surrendering to Jesus is one of the best things you can ever do.

Jesus said that we will have trouble in this world.  Take heart Jesus has overcome this world.  Always remember that Jesus will never leave you or forsake you.  He will go wherever you go.  This is for real.  You can count on him.  He will provide all your needs not necessarily your wants.  Have faith and trust in Him. As Christians we are called to walk by faith not by site.  We cant always see the end of the path, but Jesus can.  Let’s go to God in prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father – You are my all in all.  You have given us this life to live to the fullest.  My prayer for this evening is that all who come to visit this site may enter into a personal relationship with you.  I ask that you would continue to lead, guide, and strengthen all of us to do your will and not our own.  I also ask that you would protect us from the evil one, and that you would bless each reader richly according to your glorious will.  I ask this in Jesus Holy name !!   Amen!!

Thank You All ——————————————-Your Brother in Christ—————————————-Matthew J. Leiker
